No photos here, memory card failure. I do have videos though!

Wonderworks
I'm way behind in getting these up. This is from the end of September. Wonderworks was offering a special for locals, so we decided to go check it out. The kiddos had a great time!

A couple of Lauren funnies
These were both from the same day.
In the morning:
Lauren (crying): "Mom! Ben smashed my finger in with my kitchen door!"
Me: "Maybe it was an accident. I don't think he did it on purpose."
Lauren (exasperated): "There are no accidents! The said so in King Fu Panda!"
Later that afternoon, Lauren was snooping in the craft supplies. A couple of feathers mysteriously "fell out" of the bag. They were "falling out" one at a time, every 5 or so minutes. When she accumulated 3 feathers, she began to run around the house yelling, "I have 3 feathers! That means I have a collection. I've always wanted a feather collection! Yay!"

Family Photos Sneak Peek
I haven't posted in a while. We've been adjusting to the fall routine, with schooling and dance class and me gearing up for my busy season. We did make time to meet the always wonderful Dani Rose last night for family pics at the TN Valley Fair. The weather cooperated just long enough. Here are just a couple of pictures she put up for me. More will be coming in the next week or two.

First Dance Class!
Dancing like a butterfly.
The happy dancer and the proud brother after class.
When she first came out after I got her dressed,
big brother told her that she looked beautiful. So sweet.
The blinds are only open the first lesson of each month,
but I will be bringing the camera each month.
Also, she can be in the Nutcracker performance over Thanksgiving weekend.
If she wants to do it, I'll most definitely gets pics of that!

The Children's Museum
Yesterday we took a trip to Oak Ridge to visit the Children's Museum. I wish we lived closer because they always have a blast. Here are a few of the highlights.
This cracks me up! They are so used to me being the one taking pictures that when Daddy had the camera and told them to smile, they still looked at me. lol
OMFGBBQ! It's Anakin Skywalker! Soooo coool!
(Not to worry, daddy was just barely outside the frame, in case Ben lost his balance.)

Playing in the Dollhouse. This thing is so awesome! 2 stories, all the perfect size for the under 10 crowd. There's the kitchen, a living room, a playroom, and a bedroom. It even has a front door with a working doorbell. And of course the back patio, with full size benches for Mom and Dad.

So much for plans!
Yesterday I had planned for us to visit the Children's Museum in Oak Ridge. Silly me for assuming they would be open on a Monday! All was not lost though
Philip had an early meeting, so we dropped him off and played at the playground. We were having fun until a couple of mean little girls showed up. They wouldn't let the kids play with them, which is no biggie. The problem came when they got off the 2 swings, and Ben & Lauren tried to go get on the now empty swings. The girls ran back and informed Ben & Lauren that they were not allowed to use them. WTF? It was almost time for go pick up Daddy, so we just headed back a little early.
After that, we drove to campus to check out the McClung Museum. We'll have to go back to see the rest of it, but we saw the Egypt and Cherokee exhibits before the kiddos lost interest.
